Mittens

This pattern has served me well for about 40 years.  As my children grew I added a size, when I moved to the US I converted it to use US sized needles and yarn. Then I was able to put all my notes together and turn the pattern into an excel chart and now I am using it for my grandchildren.

Note: to work the flames I had to work these flat on 2 needles normally I would use 4 dpn's and work in the round.
